Calendar Vanderbilt Dyer Observatory Sets Birthday Party for Planet Neptune

Vanderbilt Dyer Observatory will host a birthday party for the planet Neptune to mark the planet's first complete orbit around the Sun since it was discovered on September 23, 1846. Viewing at the observatory is limited to 150 guests. The doors will open at midnight for the open-house viewing. Guests are welcome to arrive at anytime between midnight and 4 a.m. to participate in the festivities. Cake and coffee will be served. Reservations are available online.
